A Summer Event not to be missed. Come and join us for a great time to show your car off and drive it
Welcome!
The Event
To be held on 31st July/1st 2nd 3rd August
The event itself is enormous, the biggest of its kind in the North of the UK, last year there was over one thousand historic vehicles, not including the fantastic collection of steam engines.
The historic vehicle section usually requires the cars to be pre-1970, but for the first time at this sort of event they are happy to acknowledge the uniqueness of the classic, Issigonis designed mini up to the cessation of production in 2000.
We would be expected to have our vehicles on display en mass during the rallies opening times and also to “show off” our prized possessions during parades in the main arena.
During the day at this event there is a phenomenal amount going on with a variety of events happening in the arenas as well as static displays. This years programme hasn't been finalized as yet.
There is an amazing old funfair on site, all powered by steam and a very large modern funfair.
There are bars on site and a great variety of food stalls, including fish & chips and burger vans.
There are always kids discos on an evening and live shows in the marquees for the grown ups.
Saturday night is party time (not to be missed) live shows and other entertainment, fireworks, booze, all the fun of the fair and a fantastic atmosphere.
This is a taste of what was on last year.
